We pledge not to rent, sell, give away or deliver any personal information to third parties for marketing initiatives. We pledge not to share your contact information with any other parties unless we obtain your explicit approval. And, we pledge to secure any sensitive data dealing with your account to industry standard protocols and technology. The following is our Privacy Pledge to you.

Information Collected:



Occasionally US ValNet collects non-public personal information (NPI) that has been voluntarily provided by you in a mortgage application with our client. We collect only that information which is necessary to process your valuation analysis. Information collected may include name, address, telephone number, credit card data, account numbers, birth dates and/or other personal information. Electronic evidence of interior and exterior photographs used in the valuation reporting format, if such photos have been requested by our clients, will be immediately destroyed once provided to the client. All information gleaned from the personal inspection remains confidential.

Using the Information:



US ValNet has several operational and technical security policies and procedures in place to protect customer information that has been gathered from loss, mishandling or unintentional misuse. When sensitive information (such as credit card or bank account numbers) comes into our possession via our order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect nonpublic personal information submitted to use, both during transmission and once we receive it.

Any and all information gathered, provided and/or collected by US ValNet is used in the underwriting of the appraisal involved in the transaction only. No other use is authorized. The information is not sold or otherwise provided to any third party for marketing purposes.

Security:



Our data bank and service are based through Global DMS Infrastructure which uses the lender specific platform for both commercial and residential appraisal management. The system provides lenders with the appropriate tools to be more efficient, promote federal compliance and reduce turnaround times. It is designed to work through the internet to provide the user with the ability to manage the entire appraisal process while incorporating several widely accepted security methods.

Global DMS Infrastructure upgrades their OS software monthly, closes common holes, and proactively prevents common attacks. All administration work is completed by certified administrators and all administration work is encrypted. Discussions of privileged information are limited to specific individuals with whom the client has authorized us to speak on their behalf. Security is our day-to-day business. We believe the system has been analyzed, tested and validated as secure but acknowledge that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, US ValNet cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We will employ our best efforts to ensure that no unauthorized parties have access to any of your information. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those individuals and entities that need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We will use our best efforts to train and oversee our employees and agents to ensure that your information will be handled responsibly and in accordance with this Privacy Pledge and US ValNet’s guidelines.

Policy Changes:



We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Pledge at any time. Changes will be made immediately to the website.
